CommentsHi Robby. I'm afraid at this point in your dog's life, if he isn't well socialized, something that should have been done when he was a puppy, it may be too late. I suggest professional help. Have your dog's temperament evaluated before making a decision. A professional trainer may be able to determine if there is a way to socialize your dog. Also, if your dog was only 4 1/2 weeks old when he was taken from his mother, he missed out on an important time when he would have learned to "play nice" with his mother and littermates. You said you've tried everything, but didn't specify what things you've done, which makes it difficult to make suggestions (why suggest something that has already failed.) Is the grandbaby going to live in your house? If so, you're right in being worried. Here is a page that has links to websites and articles dealing with training and behavior problems: http://regalwise.com/index/training.html.

CommentsIt is lots of fun working on this website as a member of the website committee. This site is growing, new stuff is added often, so y'all come back, now! Ya hear? Chris
CommentsHi Ronda, The website is getting better and better. It is very exciting to see it expanding and growing and truly representing up-to-the minute events. Now that I have found another use for the photo albums and pedigrees as I work on this genetic project, I seem to be logging on quite often. Thanks for all your hard work -- and thank you Julie for the vision to get it all started. Judy and Kyra
CommentsHi All! I was here on 10-21-00 at about 5 PM. I'm the websmaster for this AWSA site. I'd like to invite you to link to our site if you like it and think your visitors would like to check us out. I'll add a link on our links page to all white shepherd websites who post a return link to www.awsaclub.com on their website. Just jot me a note that you have added a link to us and let me know your web address for the return link! Thanks! Ronda |
