This is a public board and therefore accessible to children. Language of a foul or abusive nature will promptly be removed by deletion of the entire post.

Flaming and personal attacks will not be tolerated. It is not required that you agree with AWSA's mission, but do not allow your disagreements to develop into heated arguments. This is what email is for. Take it to your personal email accounts when appropriate and encourage others to keep their arguments private.

No verbally abusive comments based on gender, sexual orientation, religious preference, race, or handicap will be allowed.

Spamming is illegal! We are not a free advertising forum. Spammers will have their posts deleted, followed with a reprimand. A repeat offense will be reported to the spammer's ISP.

AWSA supports only responsible breeding practices. If you want to announce a new litter, or puppies for sale, please provide in your message the AKC or CKC  registered names and numbers of the parents, along with their OFA or OVC certification numbers.  You should be prepared to provide pictures of both parents, a 5 generation pedigree, and your contract/guarantee on the pups by email or include a link to the webpage where they are posted.  These are the things that a careful buyer wants to see, and if you aren't prepared to supply them, don't post your puppies (or stud dog available) here.

If you are looking for a puppy, please refer to the Breeder Referral Page  for a list of AWSA reputable breeders who have signed the code of ethics.  Most of them will ship your puppy to you if you live too far to visit one of them.  These responsible breeders usually have stud service available and can provide help and guidance if you want to breed your dog.  

This forum is to be kept on topic. Personal issues such as dating, relationships, pick-up lines, etc., are inappropriate and will be deleted. In cases of internet stalking, the offender will be promptly reported to his/her ISP.

Please submit your post a single time. Repeat posts will be deleted and are inconsiderate to others. We understand that multiple posts can happen by accident. This rule is not an attempt to regulate accidents, but merely to discourage those that would flood posts to make their point.

Please use good judgment with regard to your personal safety. Never post your address, telephone number, or other personal information into a public forum.

Please be courteous, and remember that there is another PERSON reading what you have posted. Points can be made and discussions carried on without resorting to personal attacks and poor language. Observe good netiquette.
